New Addition To My Camera family! (and some creativeness)

i got my new, little baby today
he arrived in a little box which held him snug
he's so little!

check out how tiny it's cap is compared to the others

well it doesn't look that much different but when you hold it you can feel it's smallness!

these are the pics it takes (all 'sooc'):

my lovely mother ♥

my garden!

i bought the lens from ebay; it was $50 cheaper than if i had bought it in a shop! gotta love a bargain.

i am now at the end of my 3 week summer holidays  :(    all my life i've had 7 weeks to enjoy the sunshine, beaches and icy poles, so i was a bit shocked when i learnt i only had 3 weeks! oh, the joys of having a job.
slowly i have been moving things out of my room and into my caravan. I HAVE SO MUCH STUFF. and i'm not proud of it! mainly craft stuff, and things i can't part with. i'm badly sentimental with material things, tsk tsk. bad hannah
i've just went to a shop (apparently it's american so you mighta heard of it) called 'masters'. awesome place. they had cherry tomato plants, 2 for $1!! eeek! so cheap. bought 6.
and- i really love indoor plants, and when i saw one with leaves that were 2 of my fave colours- green and purple- i just had to. had to bring it home.
so beautiful.

that is me and my life at the moment.

and now for some inspiration.

little people with different thoughts on life

I'v drawn some people.

I love experimenting with different emotions.

{this one is my little sister; she dances every day}

I like you to feel what they're feeling.

They represent all sorts of people.

Some make you wonder what they've been through...

... or what's going on in their minds.

I wonder if some people would look at one and say,
"That's me."

Which is your favourite??

it's a pompom life {and indoor rainbows)

I have a new room of which I have failed to inform the blogger people about. It's being repaired at the moment, but I will tell you all about it soon (and to those who know- shhhh!!).

I am so excited about being able to decorate it; my times of the purple and green walls and cds and cool stuff everywhere are over, I need a less stimulating environment now. Now that I have more important things in my life that I need to think about (my life has changed since I was 14. Obviously.).

But I have been making things to decorate it with.
I went to this place called Fitzroy, near Melbourne, in search for inspiration. And when I saw the pompoms in the front window of Meet Me at Mike's, I fell in love, and decided to make my own pompom thing. Dunno whether to call it bunting or a garland...

Ta da!! Ain't it awesome??

The colour theme I'm thing about for my new room, is vintage/Autumn/earth colours.

So like all the brown, dark red, dusty orange, pea green
and magenta (no magenta font avail.) kind of colours.

Anyway, on another note, this morning there was a rainbow on my ceiling!! It was so cool, created by a cd on my floor (really need to clean up all those cds one day) and the glorious sun shining through my window.

Hope everyone has a nice week!! I am starting a new job, and going on a camp, so I may be a little MIA (which in blogging terms means I might not be posting as often)(I still have no idea what it stands for, haha).

What To Do With Clay

Round balls of clay on vaselined skewer.

Let dry in sun. And wash hands.

When dried, paint.

You now have beads.

These are about to be flowerfied. With end of paintbrush.

Ta da!

Pretty colours in water.

Not just beads you can make!

-brooches
-pendants
(just a brooch with hole)
-buttons

Wash hands once again.

And decorate brooches!

Success.
